Privacy Policy

Our Core Privacy Commitment
QuickRectify is engineered with privacy as a foundational principle, not an afterthought. Unlike conventional cloud document services, our core utilities execute locally inside your web browser using WebAssembly. Your files, documents, and personal data never leave your device.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Voluntarily Provide
We collect personal information only when you voluntarily submit it to us, such as when you fill out our contact form, send support inquiries, or report a bug. This information may include your name, email address, company name, and message contents. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and never sell or rent your contact details.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your Documents & Files: We do not collect, view, index, or store the PDF files, images, or documents you process through our client-side tools.
- Document Contents: We have no access to the text, images, forms, or metadata contained within your processed files.
- Biometric or Identity Data: Signatures created in our signing tool are rendered locally in your browser memory and never transmitted to our servers.
2. How Document Processing Operates (Client-Side Privacy)
32 of our 37 core tools—including Merge PDF, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, Organize PDF, Crop PDF, Repair PDF, Protect PDF, Unlock PDF, Sign PDF, Redact PDF, and Watermark PDF—operate 100% locally within your client browser runtime via compiled WebAssembly (WASM) and HTML5 Canvas. The binary bytes of your documents are read into your device's random access memory (RAM), manipulated locally, and saved back to your storage drive. Zero bytes travel across the internet during these operations.
3. Ephemeral Server-Assisted Processing
A small number of specialized utilities—such as advanced PDF to Word conversion, server-side PDF compression, AI Summarizer, Chat with PDF, and ATS Resume Checker—utilize secure server compute. For these specific tools:
- Files are transmitted over encrypted TLS 1.3 channels.
- Server conversion files are deleted after processing with zero persistent storage.
- AI utilities transmit extracted text to AI services solely to generate the requested output.
- Documents are never used to train public AI models and are never reviewed by human operators.
4. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies
QuickRectify displays advertisements served by Google AdSense to fund our free tools. In accordance with Google AdSense policies and privacy standards:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to QuickRectify or other websites across the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
- We do not share any document contents or file data with Google AdSense or advertising networks.
5. Technical Telemetry & Anonymous Analytics
When you visit QuickRectify, our web servers log standard technical information, including your IP address, browser user agent, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps. This technical data is collected exclusively to diagnose network routing issues, prevent DDoS attacks, monitor server uptime, and understand aggregate site traffic patterns. These logs are stored securely and purged periodically.
6. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Depending on your geographic location, you may have specific statutory rights under data protection frameworks such as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know / Access: You may request disclosure of any personal data we have collected about you.
- Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your contact communications or submitted support tickets.
- Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of third-party advertising cookies as outlined in Section 4.
- Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights; all our free tools remain fully accessible.
7. Data Security Architecture
We maintain comprehensive technical safeguards, including HTTPS TLS 1.3 encryption across all web traffic, strict Content Security Policies (CSP), HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), and isolated server container sandboxes. While no digital platform can guarantee 100% security against all conceivable threats, our architectural choice to process files locally in browser RAM eliminates the primary risk vector associated with traditional online file converters: cloud database breach.
8. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)
QuickRectify does not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information via our contact forms, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly delete such records from our systems.
9. Contact & Data Protection Inquiries
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data handling practices, please contact our team via our Contact Page or submit an inquiry directly. We respond to all verified privacy inquiries within 24 to 48 business hours.
