By accessing, browsing, or using QuickRectify (the "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), accessible at quickrectify.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Description of Utilities & Free Service
QuickRectify provides free, browser-based digital utilities, including PDF manipulation tools (merge, split, compress, edit, convert, protect, sign, and redact), media converters, and real-time WebRTC peer-to-peer file transfer (QuickSync). Our services are provided free of charge for personal, academic, and commercial use. We do not require account registration or credit card billing for core utility access.
3. User Ownership & Intellectual Property
You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all files, documents, and data you process through QuickRectify. QuickRectify claims zero proprietary interest, copyright, or licensing rights over your uploaded, converted, or edited documents. Because our core tools execute locally in your browser memory via WebAssembly, your documents are never copied or archived to our infrastructure.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use QuickRectify only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You specifically agree not to:
- Process, convert, or distribute files that contain computer viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware, or malicious software.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to flood our servers or disrupt site availability for other users.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, reverse-engineer server-side APIs, or probe system vulnerabilities.
- Process documents that infringe upon third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or trade secrets without legal authorization.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, QUICKRECTIFY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT OUTPUT DOCUMENTS WILL BE COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR PRECISELY IDENTICAL TO SOURCE LAYOUTS FOR COMPLEX FORMATS.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL QUICKRECTIFY, ITS FOUNDER, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR FILE CORRUPTION—ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WE STRONGLY ADVISE USERS TO MAINTAIN BACKUP COPIES OF ORIGINAL FILES PRIOR TO PROCESSING.
7. Third-Party Advertising & External Links
QuickRectify displays third-party advertising served by Google AdSense to maintain zero-cost access for our users. We do not endorse, sponsor, or assume responsibility for products, services, or claims advertised through third-party ad networks or external websites linked from our pages.
